NiYo Engineers’ Computerized Heat Exchanger Trainer is a training equipment for trainees to effectively understand the basics of heat exchanger design. A heat exchanger is studied using a hot and cold water system or an air and hot water system. The hot water system comprises of a tank fitted with an immersion type of electrical heater. Water temperature can be maintained using an on-off or PID controller. Various types of heat exchangers can be supplied like shell and tube heat exchanger, a concentric pipe heat exchanger, plate type heat exchanger, jacket vessel, fin type or any choice of user. In order to make effective the understanding of the operation of heat exchanger we can also supply transparent shell and tube heat exchanger. Computer interface ensures accurate collection of experimental data without human error. The trainer is complete with a personal computer, data acquisition hardware, instrumentation and signal conditioning that suits the existing Heat Exchanger Trainer and software.

The training equipment can function without computer interface/software also. This is a very helpful feature in cases where the training needs manual operation and noting of the readings or in a rare case of computer failure.
