NiYo Engineers’ Control Valve Trainer is an excellent training setup to understand control valves and its selection for a process plant design.
Different types of valve plugs, namely Equal Percentage, Linear and On-Off type are studied and its characteristics can be plotted. Effect of Cv of the valve can be studied. The valves can be pneumatic type or electrical type.
